Terms & Conditions
1. Service Provider
Alpina Travel is operated by Pau Gallardo Campos, an individual travel curator based in Zurich, Switzerland. Contact: Hagenholzstrasse 62, 8050 Zurich, Switzerland. Email: hello@alpinatravels.com.
2. Booking and Contract
A binding contract is formed when you complete the online booking process and payment is confirmed. You will receive a booking confirmation email with your reference number within 24 hours.
Bookings can be made by any person aged 18 or over. The person making the booking accepts these terms on behalf of all travellers in the group.
3. Pricing
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are per group total as displayed at the time of booking. Prices include the services listed under "What's included" for each trip. Flights, travel insurance, visas and personal expenses are not included unless explicitly stated.
Prices may be updated at any time before your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, your price is fixed.
4. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely by Stripe (card) or PayPal. No card data is stored by Alpina Travel.
5. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your booking by emailing hello@alpinatravels.com. The following cancellation fees apply:
- Within 48 hours of booking (cooling-off period): Full refund, no fee
- More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus EUR 150 administration fee
- 30–60 days before departure: 50% refund
- 15–29 days before departure: 25% refund
- Fewer than 15 days before departure: No refund
Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
6. Cancellation by Alpina Travel
In the unlikely event that a trip must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, supplier failure, safety concerns), we will offer a full refund or alternative dates. We are not liable for additional costs such as flights or visas.
7. Amendments
Requests to change travel dates, group size or other trip details are subject to availability and an amendment fee of EUR 75 per change. Amendments must be requested at least 30 days before departure.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability. Alpina Travel does not provide insurance.
9. Our Responsibility
Alpina Travel acts as a travel organiser. We work with third-party accommodation, transport and activity providers. While we select partners carefully, we cannot be held liable for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, unforeseen events, or circumstances outside our control.
Our total liability to you in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total price paid for that booking.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@alpinatravels.com. We will respond within 5 business days and aim to resolve all complaints fairly.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
